Procreate is one of the most popular art apps available for the iPad. It provides a wide range of tools, which help artists refine their typography and add a little more character to their artwork.
Procreate includes a few default fonts that are designed for use on the iPad. However, you can also import your own custom fonts. You can then use these to make your own unique designs.
The best way to download and install your favorite font is by using a third-party app. These apps can be downloaded from the App Store, and will allow you to open the font files and see them in supported apps.
Using a third-party app to install fonts on your iPad is the easiest way to get the job done. Some fonts are packaged in a zip file, and you may need to unzip the file before you can access them.
Another option is to use the Files app to open the font file. Then, you can drag and drop it into Procreate.
Envato has an excellent range of hand-drawn and calligraphy fonts. Their Huelva is an excellent choice for any Procreate design. This typeface is both playful and elegant, and is great for illustrations, book titles, and food package logos.
Another excellent calligraphy font is Galistan. This typeface is a mix of different decorative fonts. The serif and sans serif fonts in this family are quite lovely.
If you’re looking for a Procreate font that’s a little more playful, try Kobajeon. It’s got a Japanese influence and a clean look. Plus, it supports a wide range of languages.

How to Import Fonts Into Procreate
If you’re wondering how to import fonts into procreate, there are several ways. You can manually install the fonts, or you can use a text tool to do it for you. Alternatively, you can purchase more fonts online.
When you’re ready to install a font, start by downloading it to your iPad. Font files are usually downloaded in a zip file. They should be saved as a TTF or OpenType file. The file will need to be unzipped before you can use it.
Once you have the file, you can go to the Files app and import it. This will create a folder with your fonts. Importing a font will also add the font to your Procreate font menu.
To access the font, tap and hold the desired font until it shows the double icon. Tap on the icon to bring up a popup window with sample text. Select the font, and it will automatically change the style of the text. Depending on the type of font, you can change the font’s size, color, and attributes.
Next, click the blue Edit Style button on the iPad’s digital keyboard. You’ll then see a larger text options box. Pick the font you want and then tap Done.
If the font doesn’t appear in the Fonts list, you may need to restart Procreate. You can also try updating the software. A newer version of the software will allow you to import fonts.
Before you begin, make sure that the website you’re downloading the font from is safe and secure. Some websites require a specific version of software to download fonts. Other sites will have fonts that are not compatible with Procreate.
